Team Lou is back with a new Challenge over at the Southern Girls Challenge Blog – and it’s a super duper easy challenge!! We’ve got a fair bit going on around this place at the moment, so I haven’t managed to pull together a layout – my usual take on the SG challenges… but I had the need for a birthday card for one of the Mr’s mates recently…. Teen boys can definitely be a challenge to create any project for – but a birthday card??
Well THANK YOU Tim Holtz!! Hipsters are fab characters, and definitely work well for the teens 😀
And the guy that this card was for – both my Mr and I thought this guy was just perfect!
The birthday greeting was inside – “sup” is definitely what these kids say all.the.time!!
Background is with Tim Holtz Distress Inks blended on Stampin Up Whisper White, and the image is coloured with Copics. Love, love, love the difference the coordinating Hipster dies from Sizzix makes – I’m pretty decent at fussy cutting, but this was a breeze. Even on my beloved Big Shot with its broken handle!
I’m in love with these guys – and plan on getting some cats and dogs too! If you’re keen on these characters, you can find them at Krafter’s Kart, a regular sponsor to the Southern Girls.
Check out the great examples the rest of Team Lou have to inspire you over at the Southern Girls blog – and I look forward to seeing what stamps you decide to add to your project!
